Bliss Fabulips Pout-o-matic Spa-Powered Lip-Perfecting System Review
I wear a LOT of lipstick. I’m sure you’re already aware of this, especially if you follow me on Instagram (where most of my lipstick selfies live), so when I got the Fabulips Pout-o-matic at LuckyFABB, I was pretty excited to try it. Smooth, full soft lips?! Chapped lips be gone?! Of course it was the first product I tried when I returned from LA. Disclosure: I received this tool for free at LuckyFABB. All opinions are my own.
It’s not too big, but I feel like it could maybe be a bit more compact so that it doesn’t take up so much room in your bathroom drawer.
You mean you don’t have a head of Julius Caesar in your bathroom? Weird. Anyway, the head of the tool is rubbery with little notches. It isn’t a brush.
The sugar lip scrub you put on before using the tool is definitely in the top 5 of my favorite-smelling products of all time. Holy smokes. This stuff is DELIGHTFUL. It smells like unicorns dancing in the rain at twilight while fairies ride on their backs and throw glitter into the air.
The size of the head is pretty good (that’s what she said! – yeah I couldn’t resist), no matter your lip shape. When you turn it on it spins in a circle and moves the exfoliator around on your lips. It wasn’t annoying or too much or too little… it was just… there. It did its thing. My lips were still a bit chapped afterward, but definitely smoother. I had to peel off a bit of dead skin myself, but my lips are in pretty rough shape currently.
Do I think this is a NECESSARY beauty product? No. But do I think you could enjoy it if you’re a lady of luxury who likes to treat herself and wants to complete her at-home spa day? Yes. Why do I add “lady of luxury” on there? This bad boy is $48. I think with a lower price point it would be a total must-have. I am totally obsessed with the sugar lip scrub, but *newsflash* you have your own built-in lip-perfecting tool! It’s called your finger and it also works pretty well.
